The process of designing my linocut prints is rooted in play. I cut simple shapes out of foam and glue them to cardboard, moving and adjusting as necessary until I'm happy with the arrangement. Once I've settled on a design, I'll test it out with ink, like a massive stamp. To reproduce the prints, I've rendered the designs digitally in Adobe Illustrator with my own handmade linocut printed textures.
